Assignment

Securing a networked organisation, legally and institutionally

Head office or cross-functional role

The charity does not steer alone: it belongs to a network of partner entities, with national statutory bodies, overlapping mandates and compliance duties that keep growing heavier: data protection, anti-money laundering, internal control.

The assignment

The charity does not steer alone: it belongs to a network of partner entities, with national statutory bodies, overlapping mandates and compliance duties that keep growing heavier: data protection, anti-money laundering, internal control. In that context, the governance and legal affairs function becomes the point of balance between the executive, the volunteer bodies and the wider network.

What is at stake

Lead legal and institutional compliance across the life of the charity, secure the statutory and governance relationships with the entities in the network, build internal legal tools and reference frameworks. Guarantee a robust internal control and risk management framework, while helping teams grow their own legal autonomy rather than centralising everything.

The profile we are looking for

Solid experience of complex environments and networked organisations, recognised legal and compliance expertise, and a real ability to bring people together without a direct reporting line over them. Discretion and rigour count here as much as strategic vision.

Does this sound like you?

You are at ease in networked organisations, where authority is built by persuasion rather than by title. You know how to secure without blocking. Sensitive files find their way to you naturally.

The application form itself is in French.
