Turn intentions into a structured, legible pathway of services. Genuinely break down the wall between healthcare and social care, beyond the institutional rhetoric. Carry a multi-year investment plan that visibly changes working conditions for the teams, while dealing with strong personalities, some of them in place for a long time, and a board that is present and demanding.

The sector you come from matters less than experience of leadership and the ability to adapt. One thing is not negotiable: a sincere commitment to the project, not an attraction to the location or the setting. The stamina to carry a five or ten year vision without letting go of daily standards.

You can work with long-standing figures without losing your authority. A demanding board does not weigh on you: you read it as a mark of regard rather than as supervision. You would rather embody a transformation than announce one.
