Assignment

Giving an identity to a cluster that grew faster than its organisation

Site, cluster or regional director

Through organic growth, mergers or geographic expansion, the perimeter has widened: several services, sometimes several regions, and a group of directors to bring together.

The assignment

Through organic growth, mergers or geographic expansion, the perimeter has widened: several services, sometimes several regions, and a group of directors to bring together. The story has often been written in scattered form: teams constantly on the move, a leadership with no shared place and no shared identity. A new head office is opening, or a regional directorate is taking shape: the turning point is here, but nothing is settled yet.

What is at stake

Build a clear, legible identity for the cluster, bring together support functions that are still scattered, put internal governance in place: a leadership committee, shared tools, delegated authority. Bring together a group of site directors without crushing their autonomy, while keeping the local plan aligned with the organisation's strategy and with the dialogue with funding authorities.

The profile we are looking for

An experienced social care manager, able to take a wider view and to lead across boundaries: bringing directors together without a heavy reporting line, or fully owning a reporting line that has just been created. A genuine appetite for organisational design, not only for operational management.

Does this sound like you?

You build a leadership team as carefully as you build a plan. Creating a shared identity where everyone used to work on their own does not daunt you, it is what drives you. You have already shown that time invested in the cohesion of a management team pays for itself many times over.

The application form itself is in French.
