Director of Human Resources, FSEF – M/F
July 30, 2026
Permanent Position: Executive — Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer — Paris (14th arrondissement) — Start Date: January 1, 2027
We are seeking, on behalf of the FSEF (Fondation Santé des Étudiants de France), a recognized public-interest organization, a Group Human Resources Director:
Since 1923, the FSEF has been there for the most fragile and decisive moments in a person’s life: the turning point of adolescence, when a young person gets back on their feet, or when their studies resume after a hospital stay. Recognized as a public-interest organization, in 2023 it celebrated a century of commitment to the mental and physical health of adolescents and young adults, through 25 locations and 13 clinics that serve thousands of them each year. This collective effort is sustained by one thing alone: the 2,500 women and men who bring it to life every day.
Today, the company is accelerating its growth. An ambitious strategic plan has been developed, and several new clinics are set to open by 2030: a new direction, a new ambition, and a new chapter to be written. To lead this effort, the FSEF is recruiting its future Group Director of Human Resources—and expects much more than just HR management. It expects a Group-wide vision, momentum that engages the entire organization, and leadership that matches its ambition. The mission is clear: to provide the Foundation with the human resources it needs to continue caring for young people for another hundred years.
WHAT'S IN STORE FOR YOU
- You will instill a shared vision and momentum within the HR function. You will develop a Group-wide HR policy that unites the entire function around a common goal, and you will lead a team of about 20 employees at headquarters as well as the HR teams at the 25 locations.
- You will use social dialogue as a tool to serve the Foundation and the young people it supports. Within an organization with a strong history of community engagement, you will build a relationship of trust with the social partners that continues to grow, guided by a single compass: the best interests of the Foundation and those it serves.
- You will lead the Foundation’s transition to a next-generation HRIS and social management system. You will implement modern social management and reporting tools, providing facility HR teams with reliable metrics and the time to focus on analysis rather than data collection.
- You will help promote the Foundation’s employer brand far beyond its walls. You will implement a comprehensive HR marketing strategy, particularly targeting the nursing profession, and forge lasting partnerships with local schools and training institutions.
- You will elevate medical affairs to the status of a strategic priority. You will develop—either independently or in collaboration with the medical coordinator—a tailored approach to physician management to enhance the attractiveness of and foster loyalty among this key group.
- You will be part of three new hospital openings. Three new clinics will open by 2030: recruitment, training, and team integration—you’ll be involved in every stage of their ramp-up, from the laying of the cornerstone to the arrival of the first patient.
- You will represent HR on the executive committee. Working alongside the CEO, you will ensure that HR’s voice carries as much weight as those of strategy, finance, and patient care.
YOUR PROFILE
You have 15 years of HR experience, including several years leading a multi-site or group-wide HR function. A background in healthcare, the medical-social sector, or the social and solidarity economy is a plus, not a requirement: a career in the private sector is perfectly suitable, provided you bring a solid understanding of labor law and social dialogue. Beyond standard HR processes, you know how to design a group-wide HR policy, champion a vision for transformation, and rally teams around a shared goal. As a unifying leader, you know how to manage a decentralized HR network with attentiveness, rigor, and the human-centered commitment that is the hallmark of the FSEF. This position is for you if you want your HR work to make a tangible difference in the lives of thousands of young people.
