Committed for decades to providing invaluable support to people in need, this organization managing health, medical-social and social establishments in France employs around 2,000 staff and supports over 20,000 people in vulnerable situations every year, particularly in the fields of mental health, elderly care and social services.
The position of Administrative and Financial Director represents an opportunity to contribute to the growth of a major organization with the "Humanitude" label, whose ambition is to promote the autonomy of vulnerable people by involving family caregivers, to co-construct life-courses on a local level, and to create the habitats of tomorrow. You will be joining an ambitious institution that aims to create an environment conducive to innovation, growth and adaptation in the face of the many challenges facing the health and social services sector, while remaining true to its fundamental mission of improving the lives of vulnerable people.
Working closely with the General Manager and as a member of the Executive Committee, you will help define the organization's administrative, accounting and financial policies, and ensure their implementation. You are responsible for organizing internal management dialogue through the Finance Committee, and for supporting the centers in the development of their local projects, as well as in the construction of management centers for each territory. As the guarantor of the organization's financial equilibrium and the quality of its internal control, you will advise and alert the General Manager and the Executive Board by analyzing all financial data. You will lead the budget process, supervise the consolidation of accounts and prepare financial statements.
With a degree in management, accounting or finance, you will have significant experience in financial management in the medico-social, social or health sector, which has enabled you to acquire an excellent knowledge of the regulations and operations of health establishments. Previous experience in a consulting firm in these fields would be an asset. You are recognized for your ability to manage teams and demonstrate leadership in both hierarchical and cross-functional positions. Your ability to lead working groups and your teaching skills are particularly appreciated. You have experience in managing a management information system, with in-depth knowledge of management software packages. Last but not least, you have a sound legal background, particularly in contract law and the taxation of non-profit organizations, with the ability to assess risks and devise strategies to inform governance decisions.
