This federation ensures a role of representation and advocacy recognized at European, national and regional level for private non-profit health and medico-social actors of which it has been the leader for almost a hundred years.

The position of Director of Autonomy represents a unique opportunity to promote the autonomy of people with disabilities, age-related loss of autonomy or chronic illnesses, and to defend their rights and interests within the health and social action system.

Under the authority of the Director General, in close collaboration with the other divisions and supported by a team, you provide strategic and technical advice to the federation's social and medico-social members on subjects related to autonomy. You participate in the development and implementation of the federation's guidelines and roadmaps concerning the elderly, disability, childhood and integration sectors. You lead relations with public authorities, central administrations, ministerial and parliamentary offices, other federations and the press in representation of the interests and positions of members and the federation. You lead actions in favor of the development of growing sectors of activity and the membership of new members and associates.

You have significant experience in the medical-social field and have worked in an institution or at the headquarters of an organization in the sector, which has allowed you to establish your knowledge of the field of child protection, the elderly and/or disability. You are comfortable with public and institutional relations. You share the humanist values of this federation, and adhere to its principles of action and social mission. Finally, you pay attention to the quality of human relations, and some praise your ability to lead and facilitate projects and to network your teams in a spirit of collective intelligence.
