For an association in the medical-social sector, we are looking for the next: Communications Director

Reporting to the Managing Director and a member of the Executive Committee, you will define and manage the association's promotional and communications strategy. Your role is to raise the organization's profile, by showcasing the vitality and expertise of the association's project, while respecting its objectives and values. You also define and manage internal and external communication initiatives designed to raise the association's profile. You advise management on crisis management, and work closely with the business departments to highlight the association's actions. You also facilitate the implementation of the association's fund-raising strategy. To this end, you will work closely with the Resource Development Department. You will manage the communications teams and liaise with external service providers. Your role also includes drawing up the communications budget, monitoring and reporting on it, with a view to optimization. Last but not least, you'll keep an eye on trends in the sector, and suggest innovative ways of asserting the association's position as a major player in its field.

With a Master's degree in communications, marketing or business school, you have significant experience in communications, and are familiar with the non-profit sector. You have a sound knowledge of the media, and an understanding of marketing issues. You also have experience in crisis communications. As a seasoned manager, you have the ability to lead a project with ambition and develop every detail. You are rigorous, responsive and innovative. Finally, you are proactive, enthusiastic, curious, organized and determined.
